Currently, I am the State Representative for the 97th District in Kansas, working to improve my community by standing up for working Kansans. I currently serve as Chairman of the House Financial Institutions and Pensions Committee, as well as the House Majority WHIP. I was elected to my first term in 2018, and was appointed to the committees on Transportation, Energy Utilities & Communications, and Judiciary. In 2020 I was reelected to the Kansas House and am currently the Vice-Chairman of the Financial Institutions and Rural Development committee, as well as serving on the Judiciary and Transportation committees. I also sat on the House Redistricting committee. After once again being reelected to the Kansas House in 2022 I was appointed chairman of the House Financial Institutions and Pensions committee for the 2023/2024 legislative term, as well as a member of the Transportation and Tax committees. I am a sales/business manager for a small business in Wichita. Previously, I have been involved in management/leadership roles within several companies, helping businesses grow their customer base while remaining fiscally efficient. With any remaining spare time my wife Misti and I raise our two children, enjoy coaching little league baseball, and attending local sporting events. I believe in public service and in the spirit of community. I am a former member of the Wichita City Council District IV Advisory Board as well as the Southwest Village Neighborhood Association Board. I am a graduate of the Wichita/Sedgwick County Citizens Police Academy.
