Responsible for the purchasing or requisition of all parts to support drilling operations of 35 rigs in West Africa. Liaised with the parent company on the shipment of parts and equipment from the warehouse in Vancouver as well as organising both air and ocean shipments to and from other countries.

As manager of Exploration Products my role was to locate and engage with clients in West African countries to sell and deliver down the hole drilling equipment to them. My role also included liaising with suppliers in order to secure the best deal possible and with shipping companies to ensure goods were delivered on time and in good condition. The role involved travel to West Africa and also Mongolia in order to meet existing and prospective clients.

Managed the internal day to day running of a busy sales and marketing office. My primary role was to manage the office but I was also involved in the planning of marketing events, the weekly planning of customer calls and internal sales.

Managed a cosmetic companies nationwide POS unit role out program.

Office and field based sales executive, I bought my experience of screen process printing to this digital printing business which also had a production site in Bedford. Primary role was to maintain existing contacts with major accounts and to introduce new business.

Field based sales executive tasked with increasing the companies foot print within the Midlands region.

Owner and subsequently Managing Director when the company went Limited in 2000. The company produced out door advertising banners, car stickers and graphics, POS & POP displays, machine panels, car threshold plates, advertising stickers, bike graphics and general graphics. Originally employed three people and grew to employing 12 at its height and doubling its turn over in the first three years of business. Clients included graphic designers, advertising agencies, bicycle manufacturers, retail outlets both large national outlets and small independents and bulk material handling companies. My primary role was sales and estimating along with running the business and overall company strategy.
