In my role as a Project Analyst at Telligen, I analyze performance, training, and audit results to ensure the organization has solid processes, artifacts, and procedures that lead to successful projects and deliverables. Additionally, I work to optimize the performance of PPMO systems and tools, collaborate with teams to analyze processes for improvements, and lead organization wide project management initiatives.

I began my internship with Telligen through the Waukee High School School-to-Work program. That program prepped me by helping me develop the business skills necessary to succeed. Once I began at Telligen I knew I had gotten lucky because I found exactly what I had been looking for out of an internship experience. I was immediately welcomed and trusted with responsibilities and tasks of importance, yet I was guided to ensure I did not become overwhelmed with new information and processes. Telligen continued to allow me to grow and encouraged that growth by giving me opportunities to work on a countless variety of tasks. I am so grateful to have been able to learn to utilize Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, and many other tools to aid in the work I do. I also was given many opportunities to lead and develop my management skills as I was often responsible for scheduling, and facilitating meetings. I was also fortunate enough to be responsible for the OneTeam measures which helped me learn how to use Microsoft Excel to its full extent, and develop my data management and analysis skills. - Learned to create and maintain measures to quantify performance across business units- Created and edited knowledge-based articles and training material including video recordings- Lead a project team of 7-8 individuals and assisted in prioritizing and managing tasks- Conducted and scheduled meetings with individuals across several business units- Utilized Confluence and Jira to complete administrative tasks and to create queries to provide insight into business performance

Through my time at Rita's Italian Ice I developed into the person I am today. The customer interactions, the responsibilities of creating and serving food, and the trust endowed in me to open, run, and close a store on my own helped shape me into a confident leader. Over the course of my 4 seasons with Rita's, each year I became a more confident person due to the interactions with customers and the growing responsibilities I had at the store or even event locations.- Developed customer relation skills and the communication skills necessary to serve customers- Trusted with the responsibility to open, run, and close the store alone- Trained new Treat Team Members each spring on the creation and serving of treats, as well as the cleaning of the store and the dishes- Maintained a clean and safe working and dining environment

During my time in the Waukee Aspiring Professional Expereince, I was lucky enough to interact and work in tandem with real business professionals and facilitate, as well as work on, value-add projects for businesses. I learned how to effectively and professionally communicate and present myself. I also developed leadership skills from taking the lead on two projects, yet I also learned how to be a part of a cohesive team as a team member on other projects.- Engaged in extensive professional and leadership development activities led by instructors and guest speakers.- Managed project teams from initiation to closure- Employed professional communication skills between peers, instructors, and business partners
