Working in primary conjunction with the GM of people and culture.Devising strategies for people and culture initiatives for growth between 2023 - 2025.

Working as a research assistant under the tutelage of varying supervisors at UTS.My first internship was developed with Prof. Hall. Utilising a PBR, we aimed at developing research surrounding the optimum specific growth rate for temperature and light intensity for the T.ISO micro algae species.My second internship with Dr. Sutherland involved the production of a literary review regarding the treatment of wastewater with algae and the current best practice methods. Culminated with the development of a biotech model to manage the alkalinity of microalgae utilised in these systems through a dual-Xenia heterologous system.My third internship involves laboratory experimentation on algae. Working with Dr Kumar, we worked to isolate algae into singular cells and proliferate them under certain abiotic controls. Culminated in a 2500 word report on future recommendations and guidelines for future work.My 4th internship involved the development of a meta-analysis report on the potential of blue carbon management offsetting schemes in the future. Working with Prof. Dublin, we critically analysed this wicked problem to ascertain it’s merit considering the complexity of ocean vegetation and declining ecosystems.

Interconnecting the spheres of communication and science.Collaborating and codesigning research papers and communication articles for a wide audience. Working with external stakeholders on projects.

An engaging experience which developed my workplace marketing and advertising skills. My organisation skills, customer service skills also improved as I helped raise $3200 of a $300K fundraising campaign within a month. This included calling and reaching out to a variety of customers.
