Manage the manufacturing operations for the Cochlear Lane Cove site

As Building Services Manager I was responsible for the site manufacturing facility and grounds. I manage and develop the operational plans with overall responsibility of short term maintenance budgets and long term capital planning. Provide project management and technical expertise for engineering projects pharmaceutical site.Key accountabilities:Pharmaceutical facility complianceDevelop and maintain current drawings of site services and building layoutsWorking understanding of major engineering disciplines, e.g. Structural, Mechanical and/or Chemical designProvide engineering resources for site with cost effective and efficient engineering services to both manufacturing and non-manufacturing functionsCoordinate all aspects of projects including design, costing, evaluation, installation, commissioning and qualification.

Project managed new drug scale up through from development to final manufacturing facility within the constraints of a regulated pharmaceutical facility. Dealt extensively with third party companies and emerging technologies. I managed procurement of capital equipment and facility upgrades to enable the development of full scale manufacturing processes for commercial drug production.
