Main duties 1. Responsible for running the Evaporator Plant, Chemical Recovery Boiler, Recausticizing Plant and Lime Kiln Plant smoothly and efficiently2. Responsible for maintaining the quality of White Liquor supplied to Pulp Mill Department and Milk of Lime supplied to Water and Effluent Treatment Department.3. To suggest engineering changes to his superior for plant improvement and cost saving.4. To order maintenance works when the situation so demands.5. Train and guides supervisors and operators.6. To decide temporary changes in plants operation conditions if required.7. To co-ordinate with maintenance personnel during plant shutdown.8. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by his superior.

Atlantica Palm Oil Mill, SandakanSungai Burung Palm Oil Mill, Tawau.Main duties 1. To efficiently operate the Mill so that the rated throughput and extraction rates are achieved.2. Provide daily, weekly and monthly mill performance reports.3. Ensure all mill operating procedures are in place and followed by operators.4. Conduct and minute regular meetings with Mill Supervisors and operators.5. Establish a Planned Maintenance System including a check list for Maintenance staff.6. Ensure adequate documentation of all maintenance and capital works.7. Liaise with Central Stores for the ordering and supply of parts to keep operations at full capacity.8. Ensure that milling costs are under tight control & costs are optimized.9. Maximize oil recovery & ensure losses are minimized at all times.10. Ensure effluent management is under daily observation and control.11. Safety and Housekeeping has to be maintained at the highest standard.12. To attend to workers grievances and any other related social matters.
