Headhunted to implement national Metal and Engineering competency-based Award classification system across three Sydney sites of Australia's (then) largest commercial office furniture manufacturer. Reporting to HR Manager, managed all workforce training, including coordination of induction and safety training. Company was closed down by UK parent BTR Nylex in 1996. :-(

This position was part of an executive training program to develop into the position of Store Administration Controller. (Left because I loathed retail and the way the industry treats its staff - definitely not my cup of tea!)

The obligatory overseas working holiday - without much holiday! After a successful three month contract to reconcile a nine month backlog of futures trading accounts with London Exchange Clearing House, continued as Profit and Loss Accountant for Base Metal Trading Division until returning home to Oz.

Initially joined as a Cost Controller for Baal Bone mine site and after several months promoted to Assistant Accountant. Coincided with commencing Business Degree.
