About Nick Kidd
I first started working within the telecoms industry from April 1997 within Vodafone as a field engineer building, upgrading and fault finding on their network. In 2009 I moved over to Ericsson field ops as part of an outsource project which entailed maintaining the majority of networks within the UK.From November 2016 to June 2020 as a self employed contractor I was undertaking installations for the Telefonica Beacon project installing Eltek PSU's and DC power for Nokia equipment. I have also been involved within Huawei Chariot and Dragon projects. I also have my 18th edition ammendment 2 cert.I am now currently working for Waldon Telecom from June 2020 undertaking electrical site surveys for MBNL NTQ & CTIL NTQ projects, Electrical Quality Audits for post site upgrades on EE Vendor swaps & new builds and support for Load Monitoring for NTQ new site design.As part of the QA audits there is the requirement for me to plan, permit raise and book access for each site visit.
