Consultant specialising in conflict resolution and promoting dialogue between parties in conflict.Over 15 years experience in the peacebuilding field, including 10 years with International Alert.Particular interest and specialisation in the intersection between natural resources, the private sector, human rights and conflict – including several publications. Expertise on a range of conflict issues - governance, gender, security sector reform and development and peacebuilding - Experience at field level in Africa, South and South-East Asia and the South Caucasus as well as at policy level: EU and UN.

Responsibility for the Peacebuilding Issues Programme with a multi-national staff of 17 and an annual budget of £1.5 million p.a. Main duties included designing and leading the programme’s strategic direction, high-level representation and negotiation with governments, donors and multi-lateral institutions, political and conflict analysis in multiple contexts, project design and development.
