After graduating from The University of North Texas in 2018, I went to work at Fidelity Investments and worked in a corporate office setting. An opportunity arose to be part of a start-up board game lounge near me in Fort Worth and I jumped on the chance. I worked my way up from "I'll do anything to help" to Front of House Manager with consistent record-breaking sales and a winning team that I built and trained. My Political Science background from UNT focused on the economy and information sciences. I took courses in Micro/Macroeconomics, Accounting, Business Algebra, Data Analysis, Project Management & Information Systems, Administration of Information Agencies, and Records Management Operations - all of which greatly informed my decision making while involved with Game Theory Board Game Lounge, and most recently with Panter Pie Co., a start-up pie company ran out of the Game Theory kitchen. Though I was successful in the financial aspect of my job, I more enjoyed marketing our products and pushing our brand to align with current trends and to attract customers to our product.I left Game Theory in 2001 and joined the opening staff of Hotel Dryce that same June. From process and system development to brand and community building, the opening staff set the foundation for what has become a focal point of the Cultural Arts district of Fort Worth. I started day one of operations as an Experience Guide and in June of 2023 accepted the position of General Manager at Hotel Dryce.
