As Vice President of Business Development my responsibilities include identifying, attracting, educating, and consulting with the highest caliber of candidates looking to establish a strategic partnership with Concurrent Investment Advisors, an advisor-owned network of independent practices that manages over $22 billion in assets with offices nationwide.

Successfully grew the RIA Division of Raymond James Financial by over a billion in net new assets in each of the last two fiscal years in this role. Helped to grow the division from about $7.5 billion in AUA when I started in this role to over $30 billion when I left. This was achieved by identifying, attracting, and consulting with the highest caliber of candidates looking to establish a custodial partnership with Raymond James for their RIA or Hybrid RIA business. Additionally, I supported a team of dedicated management staff and all of our existing partner firms looking to grow their businesses.

• Consults with RIA firms, branch owners, banks, and financial advisors on the establishment of successful business continuity and succession plans as well as how to strategically acquire/source acquisitions, recruit, merge, or create a path to ownership for employees• Models financials and projects cash flows into the future for possible deal structures and business valuation• Educates clients on tax implications and allocations relating to acquisitions• Consults with clients on the intricacies of our payroll system as it relates to the flow of funds for succession planning and acquisition cases• Displays knowledge of various payout plans for RIA firms, branch owners, banks, and financial advisors, and how to qualify for them• Proactively sources recruiting opportunities for succession planning and acquisitions by networking, cold calling, and educating clients• Presents on behalf of the succession planning and acquisitions department for prospects during Home Office Visits• Serves as a central point of liaison with other functional areas and external stakeholders in resolving a variety of matters• Coordinates the department’s marketing efforts, including website updates and maintenance and Home Office Visit materials• Implemented the use of new systems and processes to expedite our efforts and improve efficiency• Performs duties in a highly professional manner to address and resolve conflicts or issues that arise in any and all succession consulting or other engagements with clients to facilitate a positive working relationship between the field and home office• Trains and develops new staff members• Stays current with securities industry trends and regulations

With over 40 offices nationwide Staffing Now can assist you with all of your staffing needs.• Full cycle recruiting, screening, testing, and placement of contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent employees across every industry and jobs of all levels• Business-to-business (B2B) sales and marketing on a local, regional, national, and international scale• Navigated our cloud-based CRM/CMS program, bullhorn, to accomplish various tasks including generating reports, electronically parsing in information, locating candidates using streamlined search techniques, administering numerous software assessments for candidates and checking results, and assigning and tagging appropriate candidates to correct portal to fill job orders and coordinate billing designation• Maintained accurate records and profiles of over 200 employees on billing each week in addition to making any necessary revisions or changes to available candidates within a database of millions of applicants• Entered all appropriate information into IT system and updated the database to maintain its current active status• Promoted client satisfaction by reinforcing and maintaining good customer relations and served as a liaison between employees and clients• Facilitated the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the organization through clear communication, management of schedules, high quality on-time deliverables, strong organization and planning, and a proactive approach to administrative work• Excellent ability to multi-task in a high demand environment• Reported attendance, weekly temps out, billable hours worked, conversion fees, and job orders using CRM software program to Regional Administrator on a weekly basis

Practiced, traveled, and competed as an elite level athlete on the FSU Swimming and Diving team. Was chosen as the team captain for the 2012-2013 season by coaches and teammates. Successfully recruited 13 other elite level athletes to join the team in my tenure. Managed a team of 7 divers and 33 swimmers during my senior season. Was a member of the 1st place National Championship team in 2011. Recognized as 2012 All-ACC first team in Platform Diving. Named to the All-ACC Academic Team for four consecutive years. Received the 2011 Academic Award for having the highest GPA on the men's swimming and diving team.
