RadioLand is a mobile app for both iOS and Android that uses a device’s location to identify which FM stations are available based on measurable field strength value, for use in any location in North America or the Caribbean. Key features include radio station data (e.g. programming format, technical data), coverage overlays for FM stations generated using the Longley-Rice propagation formula, and search capabilities (e.g. by location, call letters). Built the app using the Flutter SDK with a service-based architecture and Azure VM hosting a Python-based API for database lookups. Refactored to improve code and introduce provider state management to increase modularity.

Direct general operations for 89.1 WXVU, the radio station at Villanova University.Partnered with a professor to educate nursing students on crafting PSAs for radio and editing/recording for podcasts. The podcasts/PSAs in the course have earned awards at the College Broadcasters Inc., College Media Association, and Intercollegiate Broadcast Systems conferences.Scheduled to co-teach a History and Podcasts course at Villanova in Spring 2024 as adjunct faculty.
