Technical Expert for Electronic Stability Control DevelopmentResponsibilities include managing, testing, evaluating and setting specifications for Advanced Traction Systems. Vehicle control systems tuning experience includes Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Antilock Brake System (ABS), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA). All-Wheel-Drive system experience includes tuning Super Handling All Wheel Drive (SH-AWD). • Responsible for tuning, testing and evaluating vehicle stability systems on passenger car, supercar and light truck vehicle developments. This includes evaluation of vehicle performance and stability, marketability (NVH, smoothness etc.), technical judgment of software changes, development of new features.• Approving/signing technical documents.• Responsible for ESC Torque interface with engine.• Extensive experience working with all other dynamic vehicle systems (active suspension, driver assist, electric brake actuation).• Project management, vehicle and test trip planning, logistics, shipping, etc.• Correlation and networking with multiple software/hardware/test suppliers.• Extensive driving experience including the highest Honda license level (S), Honda Nürburgring, winter and off road certifications, and rally racing team.• Civic Continental Challenge race ABS development.• Hands on experience with all vehicle systems and troubleshooting.• Responsible to regulation compliance (NHSTA, FMVSS, ECE, etc.).• Failsafe test and development experience.• Strong understanding of many vehicle data logging and test systems• Multiple new technology developments. Experience with FTA process.• ISO26262 experience.• Member of a committee to develop a new software development scheduling method.
