Driven by real decarbonisation of all transport sectors driving environmental change and working on exciting new products and technologies. I have worked on electrified powertrains since 2010 and have since followed closely developments in next generation fuels, hydrogen, electric, and new zero and low emission technologies to deliver Net Zero in light and heavy duty vehicle sectors as well as more recently off highway applications.I am an ambitious and enthusiastic individual with my heart set in the automotive and engineering industry. I endeavor to push myself and experience and learn as much as I possibly can, welcoming new challenges and opportunities.I have strong interest and experience with electrified vehicle and alternative powertrain technologies and enjoy being at the forefront of the new wave of powertrain architectures being explored and implemented across the industry. I have vast experience from product definition and target setting, through to concept development and feasibility studies and finally into attribute validation, sign off and vehicle homologation.I am passionate about cars and all aspects of the development process, but I am also passionate for the environment and being part of the solutions that will give fair and actual environmental savings while delivering the mobility afforded by road transport.

For this period, I was working on the Bugatti Veyron 7spd DCT. My role was to manage, investigate and have reworked faulty/worn gearboxes from customer or production validation vehicles. I worked closely and often directly with the customer to commicate progress and resources to influence timeframe. There was a strict process to adhere to requiring several reports to be completed, with interpretation of end-of-line tests to understand the problem reported, then to strip to investigate transmission condition. Crack detection, gear graphing and hardness testing were used to help with my investigation. I would host a meeting every week with the customer to communicate the status and any outstanding issues.Doing this role, I used Baan stock management systems, gained knowledge of quality inspection techniques and manufacturing control and also advanced gearbox operation and componentry.

Situated at client's Technical Centre at Warwick University for 4 months, responsible for early stage design of air intake system for diesel and petrol engine applications. Responsibilities include, FMEAs, RFQs (request for quotation), DVP (Design verification plan), liaison with customer engineers from several engineering areas (NVH, safety, engine design etc.) and closely with CAD engineers from Ricardo.
