I am an experienced Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer, with a focus on managing new technology programs. My passion is pushing the development of new technologies to support the growth of South Australian businesses in the local and global Defence market. I am presently the Product Manager within PMBs New Technology Group with responsibility for delivery of our Nickel Zinc programs, which includes a multi-year technology development program with the Ministry of Defence. During my career have been involved in business acquisition and startup, business development, tender responses, new product design and delivery. I have worked across many areas of the company, including Product Design, Research and Development, Business Development, Production Improvements, Quality and In-service Support.I have extensive experience in the product design life cycle, working on many projects which have started from a handful of key requirements and have progressed to a successful in-service product. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with Honours from the University of Adelaide and an Advanced Diploma in Management and an alumni the 2014 South Australian Defence Leadership Program. I have been trained in areas such as: Leadership, Project Management, Systems Engineering, Safety Engineering, Operational Testing and Evaluation and Quality System Auditing. In 2011 I presented a paper to the Asian Lead Battery Conference in India on ‘The Requirements of Main Storage Battery in a Conventional Submarine’ and in 2014 presented a paper on 'How the South Australian Defence Industry could assist in the Transformation of the Automotive Sector''In my personal time I am a keen football player, guitarist and rock climber and in 2014 achieved a life goal of reaching Mt Everest Base Camp.
