I lead the UNECE backed UK ICE-SRM CE (International Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Resource Management in the Circular Economy). Coordinating and delivering the centres innovation across UK and UNECE region. I am an accomplished expert in applied systems thinking and apply systems methodology to support government in highly complex and uncertain policy areas.My expertise ranges from advising, the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) on Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG), private industry on opportunities for growth and the associated risk/benefits of specific business plans, relevant environmental legislation & regulation, environmental and public health risks associated with policy and strategy, negotiating multimillion R&D funding and then delivering that funding such that it supports innovation and UK growth. I advise and report directly to the Chief Scientists in government and relevant Secretaries of State.I am routinely deployed to assess high impact projects that may cause significant reputational damage to the department, the government and the UK’s international position.
