In 2006 I attended the University of Calgary where I completed a BFA in Visual Studies with a concentration in media art, and a minor in architectural studies. In 2011 I moved to Vancouver to continue my post-secondary education. I am currently a masters of architecture student at the University of British Columbia. I have completed two and a half years of my masters degree and expect to graduate in April 2015.The transition from visual studies and media art was an easy one that felt natural for me. I do not remember the exact moment I decided to pursue architecture but I have always been interested in the creation of space. Climate, infrastructures, networks, technology and energy inform the basis of my ideas on what architecture is and can be. When I am not studying or working I try to escape to the mountains to hike, mountain bike or ski in the winter months.
