As one of the instructors to receive the honor of assisting you on your journey, it's only fair that you know a little bit about me! I have been in the profession of arms since 1991, including 22 years of Military Service in the Army and Army National Guard. I have deployed multiple times in defense of this great nation, and have multiple combat tours to Iraq and Afghainstan, both as a Soldier, an...d as a Private Military Contractor. I have served as a Police Officer since 1997, serving as a Patrolman, a supervisor, an instructor, and as the commander of a Police Tactical Team. I am certified as an instructor in multiple disciplines, with a strong focus on blade work, and personal defense tactics.I ascribe to a "toolbox" theory of training. There are different tools (skills) for different jobs. It is my duty to provide you with those tools. Only with that full toolbox can you truly be ready to protect yourself in the "Full Spectrum" of Defense situations. When I provide you with instruction, you can be confidant that it is current, "best practice" information, provided by an active participant in the realm of tactics and self defense, with the requisite real world experience to shed light on the situations one may face in today's increasingly dangerous world.
