This is the main TV station in my hometown where I grew up - and the one I grew up watching.I eventually got that job - part time at first. Once I graduated a short time later I was soon doing "punch and call" technical directing for pre-recorded programs, then non-critical live programs, then weekend live news, and eventually prime time weeknight live news. I was the youngest person in station history to have held that position.It was a thrill to get to work with some of the TV icons of my youth and to learn from so many great and caring mentors along the way. My work here has set the tone for so many things I have done going forward and I wouldn't change it for the world.
