    As the office administrator I was initially responsible for helping set up the new office administration processes & procedures for the Bath office whilst liaising with the Bristol office and head office to ensure they fitted in with company policy. Since their implementation in May 2012 I have been looking to improve and streamline them. I also provide weekly reports for the management and updating other members of staff on important KPI issues relating to these reports.Further to setting up these office processes I am also responsible for the office’s petty cash and the office budgets. As part of managing the office budgets I’m responsible for passing on expenditure reports to the Head of Project as well as helping look to make office savings.As part of the job we have to manage difficult clients who have had their benefits affected by the changes imposed by the current work programme and changes to the benefits system which has lead to conflict. In order to deal with this I have had to on numerous occasions manage these client conflicts by finding out their problem and then liaising with the relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth resolution to the clients issue or if a solution was not possible then a full explanation of why their benefits have been changed or stopped.I am also responsible for arranging any new PCs for new members of staff whilst maintaining the current IT network which includes managing the office switch and liaising with the IT staff in the head office.In January 2013 the office had a new of volunteer start and as part of this I have been providing mentoring and training to these new volunteers on the IT systems and introducing them to company policies and procedures.

I was also responsible for the £3 million removal and storage contract for the civilian service and was involved in policy decisions, managing the contractor’s KPIs and financial decision making, as well as providing assistance, advice and authorisation for removals for the user.
