Current• Construction Management - Provide knowledge, skills, and expertise across a broad area of project types. Act as subject matter expert in areas of construction services, building codes and compliance. Continuously review organization structure, work processes, and work procedures, and adjust as needed to provide the most efficient and effective service delivery.• Strategic Leadership - Plan, organize, and direct staff activities to provide excellent customer service. Develop staffing plans and provide leadership for initiatives to enhance staff development and performance management. Develop, monitor, and coordinate division resource planning in support of project needs. Complete special projects as assigned by President of Operations and Owner.Departments to Oversee• Digitizing• Service• Quality Control• Scheduling• Metal• Custom BuildersDaily Functions• Digitizing (all builders)• Estimating production plans and custom bids• Custom Builder point of contact- coordinate all facets of construction phases. Provide on-site inspections as needed.• Service- ensure service techs understand job expectations and provide levels of service conducive to Southern Roofing standards. Provide all customers with consistent levels of service and provide in-house staff with accurate information to ensure next steps are handled accordingly.• Quality Control- ensure QC techs understand job expectations and provide consistent levels of quality control inspections and follow thru with any and all SOP's to continue smooth transition of each roofing construction phase. • Scheduling- ensure scheduling department understands job expectations, shingle install, roofer scheduling, flashing install, and metal roof install. Establish SOP's for creating and executing ship tickets, appointments with homeowners and builders• Contract negotiation and execution with production builders for general scopes of work, labor and material costs.
