After working in outdoor guiding and first aid for 4 years, I earned Bachelor's degrees in Integrated Product Design and Creative Intelligence and Innovation from UTS in 2019. I've been fortunate enough to intern in Service Design departments with Sydney Metro and Suncorp Insurance in 2019. I am excited to use my design thinking skills to create services and experiences that customers will understand, use and benefit from. My internships with Sydney Metro's Service Design team and Suncorp's Digital Innovations team helped me to understand how design thinking can guide customer strategy and engagement and the value of strong verbal and visual communication skills, as I helped to create digital and paper prototypes for focus group testing and to help secure funding for new wayfinding signage.Through my studies and experience I have developed a strong skill set that allows me to collaborate easily, quickly understand problems and design new products or services to solve them. My adaptability and consciousness of design constraints has helped me to win awards in a wide variety of design competitions, namely:• BCII Marketplace Award: Most Realisable – Nov 2019.• Youth Food Movement's Young Student Champion Award – Oct 2019.• Sydney Metro's Design Hackathon: ‘Wow Factor’ Award - Feb 2019.• UTS-Protospace Competition: 1st Place – Nov 2018.• Tricky Jigsaw 'Blend Week': 1st Place – Dec 2018.
