Financial analysis is a wildly ambitious endeavor, and there are two things that fascinate me most about its application in practice. First: the concept of forecasting and how rational, yet simultaneously irrational the process can be. And second: the challenge of communicating in ways that motivate and persuade decision makers within a framework that demands optimization - so, you are effectively trying to predict the future with imperfect, competing priorities. It is enough to make some people break out in a cold sweat. Thankfully, my diverse experience, lifelong obsession with problem-solving, and passion for serving decision makers and clients ensure I will never be such a person; I have always embraced what causes others to shudder.I have worked in a variety of industries while amassing +10 years of relevant experience. From massive broker-dealers to boutique M&A services firms, and most recently a respected, publicly traded bank with nearly $20B in assets, my dynamic skill set has proven to be a vital resource in strengthening client relationships, analyzing complex data, and transforming businesses. During this time, I successfully completed formal credit training programs and founded multiple businesses, including one that I continue to run as the sole owner responsible for +10 employees and almost $1MM in annual sales.
