I am the residential account manager for the western United States, responsible for servicing our residential dealers and certified contractors from New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii. The primary function of my current position is to assist our dealers with placing orders for new product related to large scale residential jobs, and ensure all deadlines and product needs are met. Additionally, I assist with product shortages, credits, returns and exchanges, and all aspects of our customized engraved keypads for our dealers and contractors. I work along side the Lutron sales team and the local agencies who represent Lutron in the field and assist them with anything they may need to assist in growing our residential business. Lastly, I also answer between forty and eighty phone calls per day from customers all over the world and assist our customers with any customer service related inquiries they may have.Prior to managing the residential accounts for the west coast, I was the EW/LSR account manager for the western United States, and the three western provinces in Canada. While the ED/LSR account manager, I was responsible for assisting our distributors in growing their wall box and lighting show room based business and worked closely with the Lutron sales team and representative agencies to place orders, facilitate distributor stock rotations, and used quarterly promotions to increase sales.

As a Floor Supervisor, the most basic function of my job is running a business on a daily basis. This includes all aspects of customer service, and heavy money handling. I'm of the opinion that what makes a business successful is the people behind it, and take training and coaching very seriously. In addition to running the front of the house business, I'm also responsible for back of the house tasks which include inventory adjustments, operational executions, and ensuring that we as a team are compliant with time deadlines and critical event execution.The store which I work in is one of, if not the most unique stores in our company, which has both pros and cons that come along with it. Working on the Las Vegas strip attracts customers to our store from all over the world. In January 2014, I was promoted from the operations manager, to the visual manager of our store. Our store faces the challenge of having a much smaller selling space than other Vans stores, but due to our high volume we stock much higher quantities and many more styles than other Vans stores. As the visual manager, it's my job to develop a plan to adjust the company visual directive and ensure proper merchandising is taking place.
