Commencing my career with Moore Robsons 2002, before becoming WHK, I made the move out of public practice in 2012, most recently moving into the role of Business Director at Pulteney Grammar School in the Adelaide CBD.Having working on a wide range of engagements in my role as Audit Manager at WHK I have experience on a variety of internal and external audits, ranging from large listed companies to not-for-profit associations. Areas of industry expertise include aged care, educational institutions, financial services, local government and related public sector entities, and manufacturing.I have specialised in self-managed superannuation funds and business advisory, including financial reporting, cash flow management, accounting system selection and implementation, budgeting, business planning & valuations, loss assessment and forensic accounting. My professional involvement in various audit and finance committees, particularly in the Health and Aged Care sector, ultimately lead to a career change from practice to industry. Governance, financial reporting, business reconstruction and transformation within the not-for-profit sector are key area of interest. Digital transformation, operating model flexibility and sustainability are now more important than ever, and have been consistent themes in my career to date, including the successful change management strategies involved.
