I currently am a tutor with Sylvan Learning Center, which is quite a change from what I was doing a year ago. I took some time off from Finance to pursue a Master’s degree. Prior to this change, I have worked 6 months as a fixed income trade support intern. In this role I assisted in settling fixed income trades and sent wire requests for discrepancies between the agreed upon price and market prices. After graduating from Indiana University I worked as an analyst with the collateral risk monitoring team with JP Morgan Chase. In this role I issued margin calls, reviewed release requests and draws on loans supported by client accounts, and assisted in various technology enhancement projects. Following this role I am now a Trade Coordinator for JP Morgan’s managed accounts. I assist in rebalancing clients accounts by buying and settling equities and mutual funds to meet any client requests.
