Responsible for planning, coordinating, evaluating and supervising employees assigned to maintenance and construction of electric distribution system. This includes inspecting job sites to ensure work is performed safely and to assure satisfactory completion.

This position is responsible for development and delivery of Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Training for the Distribution Operations Engineering and Transmission (DOET). This position supports DOET by receiving feedback on current safety and environmental struggles and then developing a training strategy to improve employee understanding of MIOSHA regulations and improve human performance. In this role I work with Corporate Safety and Health to ensure all training is continuously updated to meet ever changing regulations and pertinence to company employees.

This position was responsible for development and delivery of Customer Service and Sales training for the Call Center. This position required a working knowledge of the VCC union working agreement. When conducting new hire classes I would have direct supervision of up to 20 employees for duration of two months. This position’s Primary responsibilities were to conduct formal and informal training sessions using multiple training formats. Secondary responsibilities were to develop new and maintain existing training materials and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization to meet client needs.

This position was responsible for auditing of gas emergency calls which is the company’s most mission critical call as well as effectively maintaining and developing productivity and quality scores by the process of analysis, coaching and innovation. Created detailed reports, using root cause and trend analysis, in order to identify areas for gap training and process enhancements. This position required excellent communication and motivational skills in order to drive employees toward successful completion of departmental goals.

This position was responsible for reporting gas/electric emergencies, resolving customer complaints and billing needs and offering the Appliance Service Plan. This position required excellent time management and organizational skills as we are required to work in a real-time environment. In this role it was required to have a working knowledge of all business operations of the company and created lasting networking connections across all levels of the company.
