- Critical member of KWC’s investment and operating initiatives at the fund and op-co levels, providing data-oriented insights to investment decisions across the portfolio. Primarily focusing on the hotel real estate and hospitality sector, with supplementary exposure to other industries via KWC’s private equity investment arm.- Interacts and contributes with senior team members through the diligence process, including operating, financing, and legal work streams.- Assists in the preparation and presentation of investment memorandums for the firm’s Executive Committee, in addition to generating quarterly and bi-annual reporting materials for existing portfolio investors.- Aggregate, gather, validate, and create analytics regarding portfolios and underlying investments to monitor performance. - Works collaboratively with deal teams, accounting, investor relations, and legal.- Extensive financial modeling and forecasting.- Engages with operating company leadership teams to analyze and implement strategic initiatives to scale portfolio company businesses (including board visitation rights).- Builds relationships with industry, trade, and financing professionals to enhance the visibility of the firm and its portfolio companies in the marketplace.

Job Functions:- Developing financial models for forecasts, benchmarking, capital projects and trend analysis.- Building & maintaining database of historical financial, attendance, and project information- Creating reports, charts, graphs and other ad-hoc analyses as needed for senior management.- Monthly monitoring of financial results and budget variances.- Developing and maintain documentation for accounting and systems operating procedures.- Assisting the CFO with administration of contracts and insurance.- Partners with management of other departments by preparing various financial reports by department, program or project to measure financial success.- Research market trends, accounting pronouncements, financial analysis tools, and various non-financial topics to assist senior management in decision making.
