A year later Nick evolved into a freelancer working for numerous design agencies and by ’98 had setup a design partnership, Spy Associates, which offered creative design services to businesses specialising in print, sign and web services.As the millenium dawned he partnered with a performance car parts retailer to develop a website on a profit share model, and in ’02 Nick incorporated POTN Limited as a co-operative of independent retailers to sell their brands through. By the end of the decade it had grown to over 80 dealers offering 200 brands with a catalogue circulating over a million customers, establishing POTN as the UK’s number 1 online dealer of performance car parts.POTN now successfully operates over 100 broad and niche sites, including native language sites across Europe.
