Since 2010 have published a book series entitled The 30-Minute Shakespeare: abridged versions of Shakespeare plays with stage directions and suggestions for teachers and those who work with young people in English and Drama. 19 books in print, including The 30-Minute Shakespeare Anthology: 18 Student Scenes with Monologues. For 29 years, from 1996 through 2016 i conducted an annual Teaching Artist Residency with the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC, working with a group of inner city High School students, preparing them for the Folger's annual Student Shakespeare Festival. I am now exploring "the state of children's Shakespeare", moving into Shakespeare work with elementary school students. The 30-Minute Shakespeare series is a result of 20 years of work with students using a performance-based method of teaching, understanding, and playing Shakespeare. It is educational, enlightening, and fun!
