This included:  - Working with the CTO and VP of technical strategy to define and evangelize the vision for how we utilize data across Blackbaud  - Developing and architecting a Delta Lake architecture in the Microsoft Azure cloud utilizingmicroservices running on Azure Kubernetes Service, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure DataCatalog, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs, CosmosDb, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake Storage,and Blob Storage deployed via CI/CD pipelines and IaC leveraging ARM templates and Azure Devopspipelines  - Working on Spark structured streaming ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, cleanse, and output data  - Working with datasets across Blackbaud and creating a suite of data platform services deployed to Azure Kubernetes Service to enable metadata based cataloging, transformations, and governance  - Mentoring engineers across the data intelligence center of excellence  - Leading the data architects teamResponsible for continued success and refining architecture of existing integrated analytics solutions. Responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining email solutions  - Developed a new high-availability multi-tenant backend email processing system that is able to handle thousands of clients sending billions of emails per year. This included:    - Developing VB.NET / SQL 2008 R2 back-end utilizing technologies such as AppFabric hosted WCF services, SQL Service Broker, and SQL Server Analysis Services to allow for efficient, reliable processing and enhanced reporting on email data    - Developing a front-end UI in VB.NET and JavaScript for management and reporting   - Developed a middleware email processing system to integrate products with backend system    - Developed APIs that are consumed by applications for sending emails    - Developed processes to handle and stream large amounts of merge data for each email job
