Writing is something I do quite a bit. It's always been part of the journey and it's been keeping me busy since I was a kid. I've written two collections of funny short stories, titled 'There Will be Blog' and 'More Stories, and Additional Stories.' While I can pay my bills working other jobs--out of necessity, really--if I'm not doing something I love, it's a letdown. My leanings are comedic--probably out of pure enjoyment and the redemption of sadness as well as needing a defense mechanism. I'm currently grateful to 'The Shepherd Express' for posting my stories. 'Scene,' 'Nite Life Ink,' and 'The Advance-Titan' were valued outlets as well. My dream jobs include contributing to 'The Onion,' 'Funny or Die,' 'Grantland' (which is now defunct, so that's pretty terrifying for my prospects but I'm going to play it cool and not panic during my summary on LinkedIn), writing for an animated or sketch comedy program, or writing books on my own and surprisingly getting paid to do so.
