As a Lead Business Analyst, I assist senior stakeholders and executives to refine, plan and communicate their business strategy and roadmap in terms of business outcomes and business capabilities. As a Business Analyst, I gathered and analysed clients’ requirements and designed the solution in conjunction with the client’s project team/technical specialists and the CG Kineo development team. This involved leading functional and technical client discussions, eliciting and documenting requirements, creating functional specifications appropriate for both the client and development team, and creating appropriate diagrams/mock-ups to support the solution design. As Head of Digital, I was responsible for planning and implementing the digital and development strategy for the company as it shifted from a workshop and face-to-face led business to a leader in the emerging e-learning market. It was my responsibility to evaluate clients’ digital learning infrastructure to ensure that our solution offerings worked seamlessly, and to implement any new technology as required; additionally I designed the UI/UX for many digital products.While in this position I developed and managed a team of developers and designers, and worked closely with the managing director to forge lasting partnerships with client companies and suppliers.In June 2013 I presented at the International Conference on eLearning in the Workplace (ICELW) in NYC on the subject of Open Badges, and what they mean for corporate learning.
