I currently work as an Account Manager for DHL and this role consists of speaking with multiple clients daily, managing a customer service team, working with open and closed book customers, providing invoices and monitoring financials, managing budget reviews, looking for innovation to sell to customers, managing 3rd party suppliers, conducting customer MBR/QBR, ensuring SLA’s and KPI is achieved and always looking to improve my companies competitive edge.

I worked as a shift manager in a large distribution company and assisted in managing a warehouse of 140 people. I first started for the company in January 2000 as a Warehouse Operative; in the time I have been here I have held various roles from being a Deputy Team Leader, working in Stock control, becoming a Team Leader, Shift Manager and then finally being successful in my current role as an Account Manager.I have been in my current work place for over 14 years now which shows that I am committed individual to the place I work in, I like to throw myself into fresh new challenges hence why I have been involved in four contract implementations and many continuous improvement projects so that I could showcase my skills.Four contract implementations.Whilst working in my different roles I have been involved in a number of contract implementations at the request of my management team or putting myself forward for this role. The clients were some high profile names in the healthcare industry due to their recognisable names and the additional business they could bring to us. The role I played during these implementations was being the customer faced person for the company, the transfer of product, recruitment, training, system testing, creating SOP’s and ensuring a smooth transition of the overall process.
