Prior to joining PwC Greece, I spent almost 7 years in PwC's assurance practice in Pietermartizburg, Natal, South Africa which was a truly enriching and memorable experience. It was at this legacy office which has shaped my professional skills and values. I have extensive experience in engaging and advising company boards, audit committees and c-suite executives. Beyond assurance, I have led a number of noteworthy change projects, such as transformations, M&As and IFRS transitions (IFRS 1 1st time adoption and IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts), and have expertise in capital raising transactions, corporate governance and internal control related matters, accounting for business combinations, fraud investigations and dispute analysis and Solvency II.At PwC my back office responsibilities previously included: chief quality officer (implementation and monitoring of quality control management systems in assurance), learning & development leader, IFRS technical leader and assurance finance partner.
