Nick is a writer and director in film, television and theatre with thirty years' experience. He is a graduate of both the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and the National Institute of Dramatic Art.He wrote and directed the feature film Dead Heart, produced by Bryan Brown and Helen Watts, distributed through Village Roadshow, as well as Saviour, a half-hour episode of the series two Twisted, screened on the Nine Network, and Tipping Point a 16-part mini-doc series for The Weather Channel. He has written extensively for television including the children’s TV series My Place, the crime drama series The Straits and the horror thriller series Wolf Creek Series 2. He has script edited numerous books and feature films.Awards include the NSW State Literary Award, three AWGIE Awards, the Australian Human Rights Award, the Ian Reed Memorial Grand Prize for radio drama. He has also been nominated for the Queensland Premier’s Literary Award, AFIs for Best Short Film and Best Adapted Screenplay, and a fourth AWGIE.
