In 2000 CCHM was principally an advertising agency working for financial services clients. Alongside a senior account handler, we built a successful in-house design team that grew to become equal in size and eventually bigger than the ‘advertising’ department. From small-scale literature projects (brochures, annual reports etc) the team were soon creating large-scale brand identities encompassing all marketing materials including advertising, exhibitions, DM and web design. Underpinning all these brand identity projects was the belief in building creative, practical and meaningful identities built around sound propositions. ‘Building brands with attitude’ became the agency ethos as brand identity projects became the agency’s principle activity.CCHM, merged with Ping to become cchm:ping which later became Tangible.
