As a recent graduate of the University of British Columbia's Teacher Education program, I am ready to begin a career in the class. My background in sociology, French, and literature have provided me with deep wells of material to pull from and infuse into my lessons. These subject areas go beyond simple interests for me as I have begun an undertaking to become a publisher author with a few short pieces already accepted and a novel well on its way.Previous to that, I have had experience law enforcement as a Cadet with the RCMP and as a Student Safety Patroller at Carleton University. Furthermore, I have a background in customer service as a bartender in two of the largest craft breweries in the Lower Mainland. Outside of work, I'm an avid reader, passionate musician, fitness enthusiast, and a dedicated and disciplined martial artist for over ten years.
