An enthusiastic and aspiring video and content creator. Currently studying Film and Media Production at Algonquin College (September 2020 - August 2021). My experience in the film/video/content industry began at the young age of 17 when I worked for Rogers TV: Highschool Happenings, where I would film and edit sports segments around the city of Ottawa. These segments would air weekly on Rogers TV and vary from almost any sport you can think of. During this time I began filming for the U18 HEO Midgett AAA Hockey League in Ottawa, ON. Here I would film extremely high pace and intense games of hockey, all the while maintaining the integrity of the stream and online system.Once I graduated Highschool I attended Ryerson University Sports Media program for a semester. I learned a lot of valuable information in that one semester but knew I wanted to learn more about editing and post-production. I returned to Ottawa whereupon I began doing photo/video advertising and promotional work for a clothing store line in Ottawa called Plato's Closet. During this time I always continued to work on personal projects whenever I could. Soon thereafter I began to promote for a local events group known as FMG Collective. Doing odd video shoots and edits from shows, events, and promos.Since then I have written, directed, and edited an original documentary called "In Sync: The Dubstep Documentary" which was aired on television. I also did an internship with the local group known as Space Tigers; working as a colorist on a pilot episode that would later be pitched to a station. After completing that internship I began working for an agency known as Banfield as a part of their motion team. Here I have truly been able to excel and obtain the most from my learning by diversifying myself into different projects and different areas of expertise. My goal when creating or editing video or content is to bring the client's ideas and visions to life, if not exceed current expectations. I strive for perfection and refuse to let my work represent anything less than that.
