Nowadays, you can find gyms in every area. From the regular gym, to the big prize fighters and one-on-one training services. But, despite more people getting into fitness, a huge number of people in the Netherlands, around 80%, haven't signed up for a gym.We've been thinking about this a lot. There are all sorts of gyms around, but somehow, they're not reaching everyone. With all the knowledge we have about fitness, we decided it was time to try something new. So, we used our experiences to create a different kind of workout place.We made this idea come to life in Nijmegen in 2017 with The Gym Society. This place is all about helping you live a healthy life, aiming for those 80% who don't feel at home in regular gyms. Our gyms are nice and stylish but also as cozy as being at home. It's a place for working out, getting motivated, making friends and chilling out.At The Gym Society, every Lifestyle Coach knows who you are and is invested in your path to reaching your health goals. By making the effort to genuinely understand you and your ambitions, we provide superior personalized coaching based on a foundation of authentic, lasting engagement. This approach ensures we collectively enhance your life quality and celebrate achievements together, both in and outside our studios.We currently operate in the Netherlands with two locations in Arnhem and Nijmegen. We have the ambition to expand further in the coming years.

Service providers were aware of the digital changes of the fitness industry but did not embrace this to its full capability yet. At FitConnect we helped businesses, such as gyms, in improving their service to their customers digitally. FitConnect’s online platform was a way for them to connect with their clients by tracking their daily activities; such as sports, nutrition and sleep.Life Fitness, the largest fitness equipment manufacturer in the world, recognized the possibilities of the platform and introduced it as part of their Halo Fitness Cloud solution in 2018. FitConnect is now distributed worldwide under a new name.
