I have been doing research in the Humanitarian Engineering Lab in collaboration with AguaClaraOutreach and AguaClara Cornell in the area of passive water purification. My specific research has consisted of testing different six sizes of sand grains to determine which is the most efficient and effective at filtering dirty water. This research is to be employed at municipal scale AguaClara plants to improve its efficiency in low resource, low electricity communities across Central America.

I am the sole RA on my floor and I work with my 68 first year residents to cultivate a community rooted in inclusion, equity, and academic achievement. I have excelled in crisis management and emotional support for my residents.

Working on scheduling, data analytics, research assisting, maintenance, and marketing for the Humanitarian Engineering Lab in Smith Laboratory at Ohio State.
