Responsible for winning, resourcing and project managing the delivery of consultancy assignments and programmes within Children’s and Adults Social Care, for a range of local authority and central government clients. Winning and resourcing 5 diagnostic programmes and subsequently 3 implementation programmes to date. • Built up a pool of c60 trusted ‘Associates’ (ex DCS’s, AD’s) to resource consultancy projects and assignments• Project management and resourcing the delivery of over 40 Adoption Diagnostic and Improvement Programmes in local authorities in England on behalf of the DfE• Helping to win and resource the delivery of numerous safeguarding reviews and improvement programmes with a range of local authority children’s services clients• Project managing and resourcing the delivery of the Adoption Support Fund Development Programme for the DfE in partnership with Mott Macdonald
Responsible for the development and delivery of Executive/Director recruitment and assessment assignments at mainly Corporate Director and Service Director level in primarily Local Government, Housing and the NHS. I have worked with numerous local authorities and partner organisations , mainly in the North and Midlands and have helped to appoint in most service areas including Chief Executive, children and adult’s services, neighbourhood services, community engagement, housing, communications, regeneration, finance, legal, democratic services, resources and HR services. Other activities include:• Leadership/ management of the GatenbySanderson Project Delivery Team (5 people)• Volume recruitment exercises (including the establishment of new Unitary authorities in Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Cheshire and Northumberland)• Assessment Centre delivery• New business development – developed new business stream in NHS – Director of Public Health appointments• In –house restructuring exercises• Outplacement support• Member of the GS Talent Management Group• Part of the team who helped win IIP accreditation • Developed internet/multi-media recruitment campaigns• Advice on reward, retention, employment law, equal opportunities and diversity

Activities included :• Business development on a national basis• Competency based interviewing and reporting• 100% successful delivery of assignments• Developed assignments in the public sector – a first for Harvey Nash
