Founded Inspire 2050 Ltd to assist the UK public sector, central government and charities achieve “net zero carbon.” Inspire 2050 develops energy and carbon strategies, decarbonisation plans and Green book compliant business cases. We also source funding (over £50m PSDS grant funding obtained for clients to date, some projects supplemented by 3rd party funding in a hybrid structure to maximise value), manage procurements and projects. Previously a long lasting exponent of energy performance contracting (EPC) and energy as a service (EAAS) models, considered an expert in the UK with particular focus on the public markets. Formerly founder and MD of Cynergin group. Having established Cynergin as a top-table ESCO service provider through our focus on customer care and value creation then piloted sale of Cynergin to Veolia in 2016. Fulfilled moral and contractual obligations to Veolia, steered integration and departed honourably in June 2020 having closed multiple NHS and Local Authority EPC contracts. Also led and completed acquisition of Total Gas Contracts Ltd for Veolia.
