For nearly twenty years I have worked in many aspects of the oil and gas industry as well as chemical manufacturing. I started as a mechanical technician working both onshore and offshore, completing and supervising maintenance tasks for various petrochemical and energy companies. I then moved into operations and have experience operating different types of plant and control systems. I have experience in all aspects of operations, from field, to control room and also production shift supervision. I have extensive experience in training and mentoring and also moderating employees skills, to ensure they are performing at a high level. Currently, I am in operational assurance - ensuring that new project work gets completed in a seamless and efficient manner and can be started and operated safely. This entails being a close interface between the project and operations team, to make sure of a satisfactory outcome for all - including the business needs.
