I’m an interdisciplinary researcher working across the climate, environment, and sustainability sectors - with a focus on renewable energy, nature based solutions, and conservation policy. With experience in both Australia and the United States, my work has centered on advocating and advising for science backed policy solutions across private, non-for-profit, and government sectors.I've authored reports on the renewable-energy transition, the challenges and benefits of electric vehicles, offshore gas extraction, onshore gas fracking, and marine biodiversity policy. In the renewable-energy space, I have researched and advised on Australian federal policy related to the electrification of the transport sector, including policies to increase the uptake of electric vehicles across civilian, private, and government sectors. These recommendations outlined a pathway toward improving sustainability in this sector while also driving ethical best-practices across supply chains and throughout nuanced labour rights contexts. My postgraduate thesis, ‘Manipulation Media', focused on disinformation, online extremism, synthetic media, and the AI algorithms that increasingly underpin these emerging threats.I have previously been involved in various international youth-education programs, study-tours, and literacy initiatives in several countries. I'm a passionate advocate for youth development, and believe strongly in empowering the next generation of leaders and thinkers.Far more generally, I consider myself a solutions oriented critical thinker who is optimistic about driving progressive change for a better tomorrow. Please don’t hesitate to reach out and network or to introduce yourself if you wish.
