Working with the Beyond Seafood team on the 2024 edition of 'The True Cost of Cheap Tuna' report. This report aims to profile and rank major US-based retail supermarket and grocery chains on their approach to sustainability and human rights across the global tuna supply chain. In my role I function as an external research and survey consultant, tasked with collating and reporting on survey data, as well as researching supplementary contextual information, and fact checking sustainability and human rights claims made by the retail grocery chains. Additional report writing and editing support is provided as necessary.Separately, I assisted the Political Organising team at GPUS in assessing the environmental and climate credentials of Democratic candidates, and further advised on the organisation’s endorsement of these candidates.

Early-stage campaign research and investigations working on a US-based LNG frackingcampaign. Research and investigations work primarily consisted of providing a thoroughcompany profile and carrying out additional opposition research. Consultant role also requiredinternal stakeholder engagement, campaign feasibility assessment, and campaign direction andstrategy advice.

Researching across a wide range of climate and environment topics, writing/editing contentfor different audiences, stakeholder engagement including cross-culturally with internationalstakeholders, and providing policy analysis and recommendations to campaign teams.Achievements:- Primary author of policy submissions to the Australian Government, and externalbriefings to journalists and politicians supporting the Electrify campaign; targeted atencouraging an electrification of Australia’s transport sector. - Primary author of Greenpeace Australia Pacific’s internal policy positions on electricvehicle (EV) supply-chain ethics, mining, resource-recycling, and post-consumercircularity initiatives in the EV industry.- Collaborating with external research consultancy to produce a businesscase report, Charging Corporate Action: The Case For Renewable-Powered ElectricVehicle Fleets, focusing on the transition of corporate fleets to electric vehicles.- Provided ongoing research support to the Western Australian gas campaign,including analysis on offshore gas industry regulation, and environmental and climateimpacts. Additionally, developed a fieldwork proposal for marine research in closecollaboration with the Greenpeace Germany team.- Further developed cross-cultural communication skills, including through thecompletion of Manawise’s ‘Working with Pasifika Peoples’ training.- Completed numerous professional development courses and applied these skills, suchas Fieldwork training in the Philippines, Freedom of Information Act training, andthe use of satellite and marine surveillance tools.- Contributed to a positive working culture at Greenpeace, including hosting weeklymeetings on Fridays to celebrate achievements in the organisation.

Provided research, investigations, and policy analysis support to the Head of Research andInvestigations, with a focus on the Western Australian gas campaign.Achievements:- Primary author of the major external report Deep Sea Disaster: Why Woodside’sBurrup Hub project is too risky to proceed, detailing the history of offshore gasaccidents in Australia and the climate and environmental risks connected to offshoregas expansion - including for coral reef health.- Collaborated internationally with Greenpeace International’s Global Mapping Hub inthe creation of an accompanying spill map for the Deep Sea Disaster report,providing the background research for the map.- Secondary author of the major external report Moby Sick: The Costs of Woodside’sBurrup Hub for Whales, with a focus on noise pollution and ecotoxicologicalpollution.- Communicated with external stakeholders, such as academic expert peer reviewers,to ensure our reports were produced to high standards.- Assisted the Head of Research and Investigations where needed with additional tasks,such as administration and event organisation.
