Worked for Siemens Testing Grounds performing electronics tests and miscellaneous testsAll below hotstamp lines were created by NSM and INP was subcontracted to provide Fanuc robotic arm support and Siemens PLC support. The general process was:1: A robot loaded parts onto a conveyor which ran through a furnace2: A second robot would quickly grabbed the parts off the end of the conveyor and loaded them into a press which shaped the parts3: A third robot would take the shaped parts out of the press while the second robot loaded a new set. A synchronized motion was setup to keep the robots a set distance away from each other.My responsibilities when working with the hotstamp lines included:Siemens PLC support and troubleshootingFanuc robotic arm setup, programming, and troubleshootingTraining linesmen on how to move/teach robotic arms and training them in how to run the lineProduction supportFinished up commissioning for Vehtek (Magna company based in Bowling Green, Ohio) hotstamp line 3. I also set up a hosing standard for the robots and helped set it up to ensure simplicity and efficiency with the robotic arms.Helped with commissioning of Eagle Bend (Magna company based in Clinton, Tennessee) hotstamp line 3 for two weeks. Assisted with robot synchronized movement fix, production support, and minor error fixes.Commissioned Hotstamp line 4 at Vehtek. This job included setting up a 7th axis integrated rail for one of the robotic arms. I also addressed inefficiencies and added new program aspects to address these issues.Commissioned Hotstamp line 1 at Formet (a Magna company based in St Thomas, Canada). Included fixing multiple issues with how robots were setup such as re-calibrating two 7th axis integrated rails and re-mastering a robotic arm. I then did some math and program adjustment to ensure pre-taught points remained at the same location after these errors were fixed.Various support calls throughout career dealing with hotstamp lines

An ABB robotic arm was set up as part of a Joris Laarman display at the High Museum of Art. The robotic arm (nicknamed Abby) was to transfer 1mm^3 blocks from a supply and build a table one block at a time. My intern responsibilities were for 2.5 months during the summer and included troubleshooting/resolution of errors when Abby failed. I was on-call and went on-site for serious errors and provided remote support for the simpler ones. I also setup up procedures for the local staff to help them resolve the more common situations.
