As a Recruiting Specialist with Ideal Concepts I am responsible for the full-cycle recruiting process to source, screen and hire agents in the insurance sales industry. Currently, Ideal Concepts contracts over 2,500 insurance sales agents and has ambitious plans to expand our agent base aggressively. I assist in marketing for and attaining top insurance broker talent and finding quality talent for a variety of positions. Responsibilities include:• Testing candidates to meticulously select top talent across a wide variety of positions• Utilizing applicant tracking systems such as Jobvite to monitor and record recruiting activities • Managing job boards (CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, StackOverflow, etc.), determining eligibility of candidates, and implementing multiple active recruiting systems• Utilizing innovative sourcing strategies and networks to grow a diverse pipeline of candidates, while identifying process improvements to enhance the recruiting process• Utilizing effective sourcing and talent acquisition strategies that attract qualified candidates• Conducting strategy meetings with managers to keep the recruitment process relevant• Advertising positions internally and externally, accurately reflecting the culture of Ideal Concepts and expectations of brokers• Screening and interviewing potential candidates; conducting in-person interviews with local candidates• Developing a broad knowledge of the insurance industry and deep understanding of the company
