Building High Capacity Metro Trains (HCMT) for Pakenham/Cranbourne rail line and Sunbury rail line for the Metro Tunnel when they are in operation• Installation of new electrical wiring and terminating on the HCMT• Installation of High Capacity signaling system• Fault finding and terminating BCU• Interpreting technical documents such as electrical drawings and operating manuals• Collaborating with the Design and Testing team from China to ensure HCMT trains are customised to meet Melbourne’s Transport specifications.

ELECTRICAL (AIRCRAFT), FORMAN, ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN AND DRAFTSPERSONResponsibilities:• Installation of electrical equipment required for the forward fuselage of AF/A-18 Hornet Aircraft to military specification.• Installation of wire bundles circuit breaker/relay panels and associated components.• Running and clipping of looms, cables splicing, crimping of pins of various large connectors.• Reading technical drawings and rectification faults located during productionRoles performed:Wiring of Nomad Search Master • I was building up various types of looms, which included large amounts of crimping and soldering of all types of connectors, including coaxial connectors to military specification.• I was reading of technical drawings and also being able to locate errors from drawings and assist Engineers with wiring and installation of pro-type projects.Forman work involving:• Supervision of nightshift work on Nomad Search Master• Involvement with IKARA JINKIVIK, SCOUT MASTER, PILATUS and NULKA• Involved wiring up circuit board test boxes and assisting in inspection in testing.Working in Design & Development:• I was training in electrical and mechanic drawings in Third Angle Projection, on drawing board and CAD.• Work involved MYLAR drawings on Boeings and others.• Completed drawings release change notices on various projects such as NULKA.The building of Military Aircrafts• All electrical installations of F/A 18 • Fuse cables & fault findings• Experimental wiring of Nomad Search Master• Installation of FLIR for coastal surveillance • The building of prototypes nulka boards, circuit boards and assembling all components and hand soldered
