Mechanical Design Engineer for dynamometer operations and R&D development at Tesla Motors. I have completed various projects that have advanced the test capabilities at Tesla Motors. Some of those projects include:- Design and construction of two tandem motor dynamometers capable of testing the full operating range of the Model S motor.- Analysis of high speed tandem motor dynamometers for high speed resonances, critical speeds, bearing fatigue life, and full FEA load analysis in both the static and dynamic operation- Implemented numerous testing and post-processing scripts for data collection in Veristand, Matlab, and Labview. Such scripts have been used to analyze data from efficiency maps, validate designs, and test operational corner cases- Design and building of multiple Powertrain dynamometers. These were used to test and validate the design of the Model S gearbox and other Powertrain platforms- Design of full vehicle dynamometer absorber and tuning of equivalent road loadGained experienced in:- CAN networks, DAQ systems, power electronics and power distribution, and full vehicle test mules- in the use of Altium to design PCBs used in dynamometer controls- Working with high voltage/power and inverter based AC/DC converters.- Tuning and optimizing the control and operation of AC motors
