I am a lifelong learner who is currently navigating their way through the entrepreneurship and startup world.I have 6 years of landscaping experience which has led me to start my own LLC. My company employs three landscaping specialists.I have learned most of my skills through classes and clubs I participate in including DECA and Startup Moxie.I have competed in DECA in various marketing and finance categories, and I have advances to districts state and international competitions multiple times.Startup Moxie is an entrepreneurship course I am involved in and it has taught me valuable skills in networking, marketing and has given me a change in mindset that allows me to track my sparks and passions as well as work harder.My passions are in finance and real estate, and I am currently pursuing both at the Indiana University Kelly School of Business. I have been passionate about finance since I’ve been in landscaping and have thoroughly enjoyed tracking my finances for my company, financial planning and financial analysis. I hope to start real estate investing and I am currently working towards obtaining my real estate license.Through my first year at Indiana university, I managed to achieve an A- or better in every business/pre business course I took.I excelled in classes like k-201 and accounting earning an A in both and in my C-104 business presentations class my team was a finalist for the case competition in which over 300 teams consulted a company Fundap and were tasked with developing a marketing plan that they had to present to company executives. My experience in competing internationally at DECA and pitching to local officials and businesspeople through Startup Moxie perfectly prepared me to excel in this class and I was able to be a strong team player for my group and ultimately lead my team to be one of five finalist teams out of over 300 teams and 4 rounds of presenting.
